Murray Associates is a privately owned consulting firm founded in 1993, specializing in Accounting, Management and Personnel. Murray Birnbaum is a CPA and has over forty years experience having initially worked for two Fortune 500 companies and Public Accounting, before successfully building his business over the past twenty-five years. At Pfizer, Murray held several domestic and international financial management positions, while living and working in London for two years, where he was Assistant Controller – Planning and Analysis and Controller – U.K. Operations. Previously, he was a Senior Financial Analyst and Senior Auditor for Standard Brands. His initial Public Accounting experience was gained with Pustorino, Puglisi & Co. CPA’s. Murray is a graduate of Pace University and also holds a Masters Degree in Psychoanalysis from The New York Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. Murray is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Psychological Association.
